Hemingways Resort offer a wide range of international styles, ranging from sophisticated recipes with delicate sauces to simple cooking of the finest ingredients.

Hemingways Resort have Hemingways Resort own farms at Lake Naivasha and Timau in Nanyuki, with fresh vegetables and flowers flown in on a daily basis, whilst our own fishing boats bring fresh fish for the kitchen daily.

Over the centuries the influences of the trading routes have brought a medley of cooking styles to Africa. Couple these with the best seafood, mangrove crabs, lobster, and fish of all types, and Hemingways Resort chefs really have the opportunity to excel.

Hemingways Resort 'table d’hote' menus are a mixture of international and local favourites, with daily vegetarian options. We are always happy to offer second portions and to cater for the large appetite or for specific dietary needs.

Hemingways Resort have buffets on Wednesday and Saturday evenings and Sunday Curry Dinner and these include Mongolian, Italian and Indian specialities. Live cooking is a major feature including not only main dishes but also our pasta and salad stations.

During the calmer months (November to March) dinner is served on the terrace, with the sounds of the sea, the light of the moon and the stars, and the rustle of the trade winds in the palms for company.

And for those who fish, our Chefs will prepare your catch exactly as you would like it. You might fancy Japanese style sashimi, finely sliced with soya sauce and wasabi, or maybe blackened Cajun style fillets, or just simply steamed! Which ever way, you will never eat fish fresher than this.

1	Swedish Massage	60 Minutes
	This is a popular European system of massage which uses long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the muscles combined with active and passive movements of the joints to relax the whole body.
2	Deep Tissue Massage	60 Minutes
	This is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layer of the muscle tissue to release tension in the body with the use of slow strokes and deep finger pressure.
3	Sports Massage	60 Minutes
	This massage focuses on muscle systems relevant to a particular sport. It combines different massage techniques to enhance sports performance and recuperation.
4	Aromatherapy Massage	60 Minutes
	This is a massage that combines the therapeutic properties of essential oils with specific massage techniques. The oils are absorbed through the skin and by inhalation which relaxes both the body and mind.
5	Hot Stone Massage	90 Minutes
	The heat stone therapy is unique owing to the nature of volcanic stones rich properties. It incorporates heated stones into massage treatment. The penetrating heat softens muscles allowing deeper release of muscle tension and with the application of cooler stones during the final moments, which restores a calming balance. 6	Reflexology Massage	30 Minutes
	This therapy is performed by using thumb and finger pressure on the reflex points of the feet and hands which corresponds to all areas of the body.
