The hotel entrance traverses a beautiful palm garden boasting most of the endemic palms of the Seychelles as well as many exotic palms from the Indian Ocean Islands. The garden also contains some rare endemic plants including the Wright's Gardenia, Bois Cafoul and the Bois Banane.

In case of occasional powercuts the hotel has 12Volt emergency lighting in all rooms, although candles might be a more appropriate solution on romantic moonlight evenings.
